THE FINAL ROUND OF THE “AMBASSADOR OF NON NUOC CAO BANG UNESCO GLOBAL GEOPARK”

On October 28th, 2021, at the Center Cultural Hall of Cao Bang city, the Final Round of the “Ambassador of Non nuoc Cao Bang UNESCO global geopark” contest for secondary and high school students in the geopark territory was organized.

120 teachers trained to replicate “Geopark ambassador club” in schools in Non nuoc Cao Bang UGGp territory

On March 19th, the Management of Non nuoc Cao Bang UGGp cooperated with Cao Bang Department of Education and Training to organize a training workshop on replication of “Geopark ambassador club” for 120 teachers of 60 schools in Non nuoc Cao Bang UGGp territory in the following districts: Ha Quang, Nguyen Binh, Thach An, Hoa An and Cao Bang city.

CONFERENCE ON LAUNCHING TASKS ON TOURISM SECTOR AND NON NUOC CAO BANG UGGP IN 2021

On March 30th, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism organized a conference on summing up the tourism sector and Non nuoc Cao Bang UGGp in 2020, launching tasks for 2021 and signing the Memorandum of Commitment on Establishment of Non nuoc Cao Bang UNESCO global geopark’s partnership.

WORKSHOP ON GEOPARK EDUCATION AND LAUNCHING THE REPLICATION OF “GEOPARK AMBASSADOR CLUB” FOR 98 TEACHERS

On March 17th, 2021, the Management board of Non nuoc Cao Bang UGGp in collaboration with Cao Bang department of Education and Training organized a training workshop on geopark education and launching the replication of the “Geopark ambassador club” model to schools in Non nuoc Cao Bang geopark territory for 98 teachers in Quang Hoa, Trung Khanh, Ha Lang districts.

FIELD LEARNING EXPERIENCE OF “GEOPARK AMBASSADOR CLUB” OF THE PILOTED SECONDARY SCHOOLS IN CAO BANG CITY

On October 1st, October 8th and November 15th, 2020, the Management Board of Non nuoc Cao Bang UGGp in collaboration with Cao Bang Department of Education and Training organized field learning trips to three experience routes of Non nuoc Cao Bang UGGp for the members of “Geopark ambassador” clubs of Hop Giang, Hoa Chung and Ngoc Xuan secondary schools in turn.

TRAINING ON SUSTAINABLE TOURISM DEVELOPMENT PLANNING ASSOCIATED WITH UNESCO GLOBAL GEOPARK IN NGUYEN BINH DISTRICT

On November 16th, 2020, the Management Board of Non nuoc Cao Bang UGGp collaborated with Nguyen Binh District People's Committee to organize a training course on geopark education and sustainable tourism development planning associated with Non nuoc Cao Bang UGGp for officials of related specialized divisions, communities and tourism service providers in the district.

TRAINING ON SUSTAINABLE TOURISM DEVELOPMENT PLANNING ASSOCIATED WITH UNESCO GLOBAL GEOPARK IN QUANG HOA DISTRICT

On November 13th, 2020, the Management Board of Non nuoc Cao Bang UGGp collaborated with Quang Hoa District People's Committee to organize a training course on sustainable tourism development planning associated with Non nuoc Cao Bang UGGp for 150 people who are officials of related specialized divisions, communities and tourism service providers in the district.

EXTRACURRICULAR ACTIVITIES ORGANIZED TO PROMOTE NON NUOC CAO BANG UNESCO GLOBAL GEOPARK IN HIGH SCHOOLS IN CAO BANG CITY

On December 7th, December 14th and December 21st, 2020, education activities related to Non nuoc Cao Bang UGGp were organized at school weekly assembly at Cao Bang City High school, Cao Bang Ethnic Minority boarding school, and Cao Bang High school for gifted students respectively.
