On December 1st, 2020, the Management Board of Non nuoc Cao Bang Geopark participated in a mission led by Cao Bang Department of Construction to conduct a survey with the objective to evaluate the proposal concerning the building of ancillary works at Xum Lech limestone quarry - Phia Ga, Ban Moi hamlet, Kham Thanh commune, Trung Khanh district, Cao Bang province.

The meeting was attended by representatives of provincial departments: Department of Construction, Department of Natural Resources and Environment, Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the People's Committee of Trung Khanh district, the People's Committee of Kham Thanh commune and Thanh Hieu private enterprise. At the meeting, the representative of Thanh Hieu private enterprise presented the project on expanding and building ancillary works for Xum Lech limestone quarry by about 2.8 hectares (the originally rented ancillary area is about 0.5 hectares)

After the field survey, members of the mission and representatives of Thanh Hieu private enterprise discussed the construction site of the ancillary works at Xum Lech limestone quarry. Representatives of the departments agreed that the construction area of ancillary works does not affect the new rural planning of Kham Thanh commune, the zoning area of geological heritage sites, and recognized cultural relics, and does not affect national defense and security.
