The Provincial Steering committee (PSC) for the development of Cao Bang global geopark evaluated performance of the first 9 months and implement activity plan of last 3 months 2018

 From the beginning of the year till now, the province has actively cooperted with Ministries and central agencies such as NATCOM, Ministry of Envrionment and Natural resources, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and related Ministries instructed departments and districts related to the development of the geopark to carry out activites to meet criteria of UNESCO, particularly the 6 recommendation of UNESCO, after Non nuoc Cao Bang was designed the label of UNESCO global geopark. 

In terms of communication and promotion of Non nuoc Cao Bang geopark: about more than 1000 turns of public officers, local communities and workers employed by local service providers in the provinces were briefed and learnt about the geopark , etc; carried out the Summing-up and Awarding ceremony on the “Beautiful shots of non nuoc Cao Bang geopark and tourism of Cao Bang” and launched the second Beautiful shots of non nuoc Cao Bang geopark and tourism of Cao Bang” 2018; organized education session on Non nuoc Cao Bang geopark  in schools; developed and finalized the training material to be used in the school; published 3 News letters, leaflets and Guide books of the three experience routes of Non nuoc Cao Bang geopark; surveyed and proposed solutions to update the promotion panels of Non nuoc Cao Bang geopark such as Information panel, A/E, PIGP, GP and sign boards in the three routes of the geopark.

For international networking activities: developed working plan and participated at the at the 204^th meeting session of the Executive board of UNESCO; worked and Signed an MoA with Haunte Provence UNESCO global geopark, France. Attended the 8^th Global geopark Conference in Itali and study tour on the sanitation management in the urban area in Switzerland. Organized a promotional booth at the Geofair in Italy, and delivered two presentations and chaired one thematic workshop at the 8^th Global geopark Conference

For the human resource of the Management board of Non nuoc Cao Bang geopark: continue to propose the provincel to consolidate the human resource for the effective operation of the Management board of Non nuoc Cao Bang geopark.

For the activity plan of the last 3 months: the geopark would focus on the development of the Action plan for the next phase 2018-2022; agree on the Framework contract between Cao Bang province and Vietnam Institue of Geology and Mineral resources on supporting Cao Bang to develop Non nuoc Cao Bang geopark; increasingly promote Non nuoc Cao Bang geopark on mass media; carry out capacity building  for the geopark intepreters at heritage sites of the three experience routes, revised and add UNESCO logo to the IPs, PIGP and AE pannels of Non nuoc Cao Bang geopark.
