Field visit The Internernational delegate and GGN in Non nuoc Cao Bang UNESCO global geopark

After the International conference on “Sustainable tourism development through UNESCO global geopark model”, from May 9-10th 2019, the international delegate and GGN paid a field visit to experience Non nuoc Cao Bang UNESCO global geopark.
The delegation visited some sites in the Eastern route of Non nuoc Cao Bang UGGp.

On May 9th 2019, the Delegation visited the Information center of Non nuoc Cao Bang UNESCO global geopark. After that the delegate explored the Eastern route- Experience traditional cultures in a wonder land, including: the Pillow Bazal in Ma Phuc pass (Tra Linh); Angel mountain eye (Nam Cha, Tra Linh); Phja Thap incense and Pac rang forging villages (Quang Uyen), Khuoi Ky stone village; Nguom Ngao cave, and Ban Gioc waterfall in Trung Khanh district.

On May 10th 2019, the Delegation conducted field visit to the Western route of Non nuoc Cao Bang geopark-Experience Phja Oac-The Moutain of transformation. The delegation explored the Lang Mon fossil, Dao Tien embroidery factory, Tran Hung Dao National special historical site, Dragon back paronama, Tinh Tuc tin mine, Lung Muoi Tungsten mine, Phja Oac Paronama, Salmon and sturgeon farm (Phja Den), Ban O and French Villa, and Kolia tea farm.

Apart from the agenda discussed and presented at the Conference, the field visit of experience routes of Non nuoc Cao Bang geopark enabled international experts to have an overview of significans of Non nuoc Cao Bang UGGp. Then, scientists and scholars might provide recommendations and share their experience for the development of UNESCO global geopark model in Cao Bang following the criteria of UNESCO as well as the mobilization of this model for sustainable tourism development. In addition, this is one of opportunities for international delegates and representatives from global UGGps to share lessons learnt and best practices of Cao Bang in its development of Non nuoc Cao Bang UGGp so that other provinces in Viet Nam or other countries who have the interest of developing the UNESCO global geopark model in their provinces or countries.
